We might have groaned about assigned reading as kids, but some of the books we read in school stayed with us forever. We asked our readers on Facebook to tell us about a book they were assigned that changed the way they thought. Readers replied with all sorts of titles — we saw The Giver and To Kill a Mockingbird pop up over and over.
