Deal Checklist

Discount early. Pushing through your discount early can help mitigate potential issues. All discounts must be live by 12 a.m. Pacific Time the day of the Featured Deal. Please contact individual retailers for additional instructions and troubleshooting advice.

Double-check the details of your Featured Deal. Verify that all your deal specifics are correct before confirming your promotion. If anything changes, please let us know as soon as possible.

Pay in advance. If you scheduled your feature through the Partner Dashboard, we will charge the payment method you’ve added to your account after you confirm the feature. If your payment is not successfully processed within 5 days of confirming your Featured Deal details, we will unfortunately have to cancel your feature.

Claim your author profile (or encourage the author to claim). Authors who claim their BookBub Author Profiles before their Featured Deals run attract more BookBub followers. Authors can easily claim their profiles in their Partner Dashboards.

Relay any specific instructions. Let us know if there’s anything in particular we should be aware of about your listing — for instance, if there are multiple editions of the same book available, or if the cover has recently changed.

Keep your deal live through the expiration date. Please ensure that your book does not return to full price until 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on the day that your deal is set to expire.

Enjoy your promotion! Your deal will go live on our website between 6-9 a.m. PST, and the email will generally be delivered by 10 a.m.-noon PST.
